Duckett has huge night in Brandywine’s 49-0 win over Bulldogs

CENTREVILLE — A big first half allowed the Brandywine Bobcats to improve to 2-0 Friday night.
Brandywine rolled out to a 35-0 halftime lead over host Centreville and never looked back, winning 49-0. It is the Bobcats’ five consecutive win over the Bulldogs.
Quarterback Andrew Duckett had a huge night for Brandywine as he threw for four touchdowns and ran for another. Duckett was 7-of-11 for 182 yards. He threw two touchdown passes each to Austin Knapp (33- and 38-yards) and Alec Nichols (43- and 9-yards).
His touchdown run was good for 41 yards.
Brandywine finished the night with 324 yards rushing, led by Brandon Earles, who had 105 yards on six carries and a pair of touchdowns. Earles scored on runs of 13- and 68-yards.
