The 28th annual Summer in the City, presented July 25-27 by Greater Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce, introduces a new Taste of Dowagiac on July 26.

A limited number of $10 tickets are on sale.

Tickets will be available at each of nine host sites, the Chamber of Commerce in the depot, Vincent J. Jewelers or Kim MacGregor’s Edward Jones office.

From 2 to 6 p.m. on July 26, enjoy a mix of hors d’oeuvre-sized specialties at nine restaurants: Beeson Street (chili), Caruso’s (homemade chocolate), Deb’s Café, Trackside, Eagles (wings), Wood Fire (pizza bites), Foodies Fresh Cafe, Zeke’s (crab and cheese-stuffed mushrooms) and Wounded Minnow.

Mimi Sarducci’s expected to participate, but July 26 is its last day in business before opening a breakfast place next month in the former El Paso Mexican restaurant next to Pizza Hut at 724 N. Front St.
