Brandywine senior Mackenzie Shelton has been Class C All-State by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan.
Shelton helped Brandywine fashion a 95-7 record over the last four years, which included four Lakeland Conference, four Class C District and four Class C Regional championships.
Shelton played in the state quarterfinals as both a freshman and a senior.
“Her most important stats was her leadership, assist to turnover ratio and her ability from the point guard position to lead her team to a 95-7 record over the past four years,” Brandywine coach Josh Hood said.
Shelton, who missed nearly a month with an ankle injury, averaged 8.9 points per game to go along with 135 assists, 66 steals and 73 rebounds.
