BANGOR – Defending state runner-up Chanc Ravish of Brandywine will get one more shot at a championship.

Ravish captured the 140-pound Division 4 Individual Regional championship at Bangor High School Saturday and will now compete in the MHSAA finals Feb. 28 through March 2 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Ravish decisioned David McNealy of Bangor 4-2 to claim the title. Ravish pinned Ryan Wait of Gobles in the opening round and then won by technical fall (15-0) in the semifinals against Jayson Ellicott of Kent City.

Also advancing to the state finals for the Bobcats are Joe Monica, who was second at 189; Jesse Lochmondy, who was third at 103; and Paul Lochmondy, who was fourth.

Cassopolis’ Zack Newton finished fourth at 160 to advance to the finals.
