Heather Miller and Shane Biggs have announced their engagement to be married this spring.

Miller, of Niles, is the daughter of Sherri Strohl Flick and her late husband, Charles Flick, and of August Miller and his wife, Julie. The bride’s stepfather is Jack M. Schram. Her grandparents include, Carol and Michael Workman, Donald Strohl, Theodore and Ezma Cole, August and Phyllis Miller and great-grandparents Alice and Fred Percy.

Miller graduated from Niles High School in 1992. She attended Strayer University – Washington, D.C., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She works as an administrative assistant for a Construction Company in South Bend, Ind.

She has two daughters, Nevaeh and Legna.

Biggs, of Niles, is the son of Dawn Biggs and of Herb McGraw and his wife Diane. His grandparents are Peggy Biggs and Carl and Helen McGraw.

Biggs graduated from Brandywine High School in 1998 and is continuing his education in Precision Machining Technology at Southwestern Michigan College. He works in fabricating custom window frames.
