MOVIE: ‘Les Miserables’

In the wildly loved musical set to film, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway deliver stellar, heart-wrenching performances. If men make it out of the theater without tears, I’d be surprised. I’m not a real fan of musical theater — I can’t stand “Glee”—but well-directed films are a great way to begin drawing in some converts.

These cats hail from Las Vegas and were the first “tribute” band to ever appear on David Letterman, who subsequently praised them. The website shows a Morris Day character as well, so it you wanna hit the funk hard on NYE, I’d take my chances here. The Hard Rock has dinner packages as well.
