Berrien County Commissioners make appointments

ST. JOSEPH — Berrien County Board of Commissioners made appointments Nov. 29:
• Planning Commission — reappointed James Meister, Rodney Krieger and Les White for three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2015.
• Public transportation — reappointed Emil Gallay, Joanne Johnson and Judy Lammers for three-year terms expiring Jan. 1, 2016.
• Public works — reappointed Glenn Zerler, Conrad Larson, Lowell Dunham and Rachel Bernard for three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2015.
• Loan administration — reappointed Greg Vaughn, Milt Richter and Marlene Kramer for three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2015.
• Economic development — reappointed Greg Vaughn for a six-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2018.
• Building Authority — reappointed Ken Wendzel for a three-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2015.
• Southwest Michigan Planning Commission — reappointed Richard Remus for a three-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2015.
• St. Joseph Harbor Authority — reappointed Virginia Sansone, John Kinney, Lee Scherwitz and James Cronk for three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2015.
• County Public Safety Communication Center Operations Committee — reappointed Dave Agens, 911 director; Niles Charter Township’s Gary Brovold, Fire Chiefs Association; Ken Hoffman, information services director; Jack Fisher, medical control (EMS); Tom Stiles, Fire Chiefs Association; Sheriff Paul Bailey; and Melinda Logan for the Michigan State Police until Willie Mays’ replacement is determined. Two-year terms expire April 13, 2014.
• 911 Advisory Committee — reappointed Michael Davidson, Fire Chiefs Association; and Kenneth Hoffman, information services director for three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2015. Appointed Dave Agens, county PSAP; Randy Pompey, police services; and Melinda Logan, MSP.
• Area Agency on Aging — reappointed Leonard Smith and Don Radde for two-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2014.
• Parks and recreation — reappointed Julia LaSata and Anthony Korican for three-year terms expiring Jan. 1, 2016.
