Halloween festivities begin 5:30 p.m. Oct. 26  in downtown St. Joseph. Trick or treating at participating downtown merchants is from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Pumpkin bowling is back and will start at 5:30 p.m. in the 300 block of State Street.

Magician John Dudley will entertain in and around downtown.  In addition, the Silver Beach Carousel will offer free rides from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The third annual dog dress-up contest will be held in front of FuzzyButz, 306 State St., downtown St. Joseph, at 7 p.m. Registrations, also taken at www.fuzzybutzpetbaker.com, are being accepted at the FuzzyButz location.

City-wide trick-or-treating will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
