Andrew and Terenia (Tyrakowski) Zawisza celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 13, 2012, at American Legion in South Bend. The

celebration was a surprise party, which was hosted by their children.

Andrew is a retired chief engineer and Terenia is a retired Realtor/broker.

They have four children: Rachelle (James) Taylor, David Zawisza, Suzette Daliymple and Lisa (Mark) Byerley.

Their grandchildren are Michael and Cameron Daliymple, Andrew and Isabel Taylor, Tiffany, Krystal and Travis Zawisza, Delania Byerley and Aubrey and Austin Borcea (Zawisza).
