A Niles man was treated at Lakeland Hospital and released after a rollover on U.S. 31 Tuesday morning.

Marc Bussan, 52, was northbound on U.S. 31 near the entrance ramp from M-139 when he thought a merging vehicle might be coming into his lane.

A witness indicated the merging vehicle did not enter the lane Bussan was in, but that Bussan braked and slid into the median, where his vehicle, a 2005 Nissan convertible, rolled and landed on its tires.

Bussan was alert and talking to bystanders who stopped to assist. Medic-1 transported him to Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles, where he was treated and released.
