Dana Vorrath, of Buchanan, and James Linkiewicz, of Calumet City, Ill., announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sandra and Randy Vorrath and granddaughter of Marguerite and Carl Greulich and Ruth and Ronnald Vorrath. She is a 2007 Buchanan High School graduate. She will graduate with a bachelor of science in nursing degree from Indiana University Northwest in 2015. She works in cancer-related studies.

The groom-to-be is the son of Diana and Michael Linkiewicz and grandson of Dolores and Ronnald Lee and Geraldine and Michael Linkiewicz. He is a 2002 Thorton Fractional North High School graduate. He will graduate with a computer information systems degree from Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso, Ind., in 2015.

The couple will be married June 14, 2014, at The Chapel of the Resurrection, 1600 Chapel Drive, Valparaiso.
