World’s Largest Flag Day Parade

The Village of Three Oaks is celebrating 60 years of its annual Flag Day parade — what it considers to be the world’s largest. It averages more than 100 units of veterans, color guards, marching bands, clowns, drill teams and drum and bugle corps. Father’s Day Festival and Corvette Car Show

Underground Railroad Days

Discover the Village of Vandalia’s heritage as a stop on the Underground Railroad. There will be information booths about the UGRR and related topics. Tour buses will operate throughout both days showcasing several UGRR sites. The Bonine House, home of Quaker abolitionist James E. Bonine, will be open for visitors. Wednesday Wine Walks

Downtown South Bend, Ind.

The Downtown Dining Alliance of South Bend began monthly Wednesday Wine Walks for charity this week. Each restaurant will provide three wine tastings paired with complementary appetizers. Choose any participating restaurant (Cafe Navarre, East Bank Emporium, South Bend Chocolate Cafe, Sunny Italy Cafe, Tippecanoe Place Restaurant or The Vine) as a starting point to purchase a wristband each evening and enjoy a stroll through downtown South Bend.
