No serious injuries in crash

Daily Star photo/KATIE ROHMAN No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at South Third Street and Bertrand Road, Niles Township, at approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday. According to Deputy Benjamin Eberly of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of a two-door Ford Probe reportedly ran a stop sign while traveling south on Third Street and hit a Ford SUV on Bertrand. One of the vehicles began leaking oil, but it was quickly contained. The Niles Township Fire Department, Michigan State Police and Southwestern Michigan Community Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
