BUCHANAN – Six first half goals led to an easy and early night for the Buchanan soccer team against visiting River Valley Thursday.

Morgan French scored three goals and added an assist as the Bucks blanked the Mustangs 8-0 in a game ended early due to the mercy rule.

Ashley Luzadre added two goals and an assist for Buchanan, which squared its record at 1-1.
