Brandywine rolls to win over LMC

ST. JOSEPH – Visiting Brandywine outscored Lake Michigan Catholic 33-17 over the final three quarter Tuesday night and rolled to a 42-20 non-conference boys basketball victory.
The win evened the Bobcats’ record at 6-6.
Brandywine led 9-3 after the open eight minutes of action and increased its advantage to 13-points by halftime, 20-7.
Things didn’t get a lot better for the Lakers offensively in the second half although they did score 13 points.
The Bobcats scored 22 points in the final 16 minutes of play in the low scoring affair.
Alex Erwin of Brandywine was the only player to reach double figures as he scored 10 points. The Bobcats also got eight points from Mykal Toxopeus. Michael Shelton and Austin Searles each added seven points.
Anthony Sarno led LMC with nine points.
