With the beginning of the second session of the 112th Congress under way, U.S. Rep. Fred Upton’s near-perfect voting
record continues. He didn’t missed a vote in 2010 or 2011— 664 and 948 votes respectively.
Upton, R-St. Joseph, was one of 12 members of the House of Representatives to not miss a single vote last year.
“As we work to help create jobs and reduce our national debt, I’m fighting hard to make sure the people of southwest Michigan have a strong voice at the table,” Upton said. “My responsibility to stand up for Michigan families and job creators is one that I have never taken lightly. I have always made it a priority to be present and well-informed.”
