Fannie Bell (Wright) Hankins, 103, died at 6:28 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at her home in Niles of natural causes.
She was born Nov. 7, 1908, in Goodman, Miss. She was a pattern folder at Simplicity Pattern Co. in Niles.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Niles. She served God all of her life and the happiest times in her life were spent at church.

She only knew one man, Lee Allen Hankins, the one and only love of her life. They married Jan. 2, 1927, in Goodman.

He preceded her in death in 1992.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Regan and Missouri (Bell) Wright; two brothers, Regan L. Wright and Bunche Wright; and five sisters, Ida Mae White, Ethel Ingram, Laurene Johnson, Wardine Jones and Lizzy Thrower.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Niles, with the Rev. Bryant Bacon of the church officiating.

Burial will be at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
