The host Cassopolis varsity wrestling team went 4-1 and finished second at the annual Steve Linton Memorial Tournament Saturday.

Martin (4-1) won the tournament by virtue of a head-to-head tiebreaker against the Rangers, which it defeated 48-36 in the first round in the tournament.

Eau Claire and Constantine “B” finished 3-2, while Lakeshore “B” went 1-4 and Niles “B” finished at 0-5.

Going undefeated on the day for the Rangers were Kahlil Brown, (112) Tyler Butrick, (130) and Dominic Forbes (189).  Jessie Richey, (140) Zack Newton, (160) and Ian Montgomery (171) finished with 4-1 records respectively.

Josh Dayhuff (119) went undefeated for Niles and fellow Viking Blaine Meyers (152) posted a 4-1 record.
