Treasure Hunters coming to town

Treasure Hunters Roadshow digs into Niles for five days, Jan. 24-28, at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 1000 Moore Drive in Niles.

During this free event, 1,200 residents are expected to bring  in their collectibles and talk to world-renowned antique and collectible representatives.  One recent find was a 1960s vintage guitar, which sold for $100,000.

Specialists are looking for coins and paper currency issued prior to 1970, toys, dolls, trains, vintage jewelry, old and modern musical instruments, war memorabilia gold and silver jewelry, costume jewelry, advertising memorabilia, swords, knives and daggers.
