GRAND RAPIDS – Benton Harbor native Sinbad will join the lineup of talent for this year’s festival of laughter, Gilda’s Laughfest, scheduled for March 8-18.

Other major entertainment includes the return of The Bob & Tom Comedy All-Stars hosted by Kristi Lee and three returning showcases: Best of the Midwest, Stand-up Comedy Competition and the Clean Comedy Showcase.

Sinbad is ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 stand-up comedians of all time. He is internationally known for his starring roles in hit movies like “Jingle All the Way,” playing opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger; Houseguest co-starring the late Phil Hartman; and his film debut “Necessary Roughness.” His stand-up television special aired on Comedy Central this past February.

Most recently, Sinbad appeared in the third season of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice.”  Sinbad will appear as one of the cleaner comedy acts to be featured during this year’s LaughFest.
