Runners can register for turkey day run

The 30th Annual Niles-Buchanan YMCA and First Source Bank Thanksgiving Day Run will be held Thursday, Nov. 1. Registration is under way for the event at a reduced cost. Registration is under way for the 30th annual Niles-Buchanan YMCA and First Source Bank Thanksgiving Day Run.

The 10K run and 5K run/walk will be held Nov. 24.

There will also be a 1-mile run run.

Runners can save money by registering now through Nov. 1. Register online at www.classicrace.com or download a registration form at the YMCA’s website www.nb-ymca.com.

Call the YMCA for an entry form to be mailed or faxed to you by calling 683-1552.

Volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to help with this year’s race.

Your help is needed with race day registrations, race course traffic control, hospitality table and much more.

If you would like to help out, call the YMCA at 683-1552 and ask for Bret.

All volunteers will receive a commemorative long-sleeve 2011 Thanksgiving Day Run T-shirt.
