Joseph K. Mutale, 57, of Niles, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles.
Joseph was born October 4, 1954, in Zaire, Africa, the son of Benjamin Mulenga Kanso and Lea Mukobe Kanso. He had earned a master’s degree, and he owned and was administrator for his business, Medic Choice Services.
Survivors include his wife, Muritha; daughters, Amy and Kelsey; son, Jaime; a sister, a brother and many family members.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16 at the All Nations Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs.
