The Niles freshmen football team will head into its season finale undefeated.

The Vikings made sure of that Thursday night as they defeated visiting St. Joseph 42-8.

Niles led 16-0 after the first quarter and 22-0 at halftime.

Adam Langmeyer and Ra’Quon Glenn, Warren Smith, Charle Kemp, who caught a 20-yard touchdown pass, and Jordon Ham.

Defensive standouts for the Vikings were Ted Jackowiak, John Hampton, Devon Strode and Celie Alexander.

Niles (8-0) will travel to Portage Central for its final game Thursday night.
