Dear editor:

The Niles Art Association would like to thank Trailhead Mercantile and other Niles merchants who displayed the butterflies, including the Niles UPS Store, the Buchanan Art Center, Niles High, St. Mary’s and Ferry Street schools, Irene Williams and many more individuals and businesses for their contributions to the Butterfly Project for the Holocaust Museum Houston.  As a community, we gathered 601 butterflies to commemorate the children lost in the holocaust.  Howard-Ellis School was our biggest single contributor with more than 150 original winged creations.
