Ruthey Lee Hollingsworth, 58, of Niles, died at 12:35 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at her home in Niles of natural causes.
She was born April 26, 1953 in Niles, and was a lifetime area resident.
Ruthey was a qualified medication aide at Hamilton Grove in New Carlisle, Ind. She enjoyed crocheting; playing the piano; was a member of the Michiana FIL-AM Seventh-day Adventist Church in Berrien Springs. She loved her clowns.
She is survived by her brothers, Floyd (Vickie) Hollingsworth, Leon Hollingsworth and Noah (Crystal) Hollingsworth; sisters, Martha (Lewis) Vermilyer; Ammie (Billy) Minnix; and many well-loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Goldie Hollingsworth, and two sisters, Ellen and Norien.
Services will be a noon Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at Michiana FIL-AM Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8454 Kephart Lane, Berrien Springs with David Simmons and Kevin Wiley of the church officiating.
Burial will be at Galien Cemetery in Galien.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Oct. 10 at the church.
