BATTLE CREEK — The Niles golf team finished 10th at the Division 3 Regional held at Binder Park Thursday.

Plainwell out of the Wolverine Conference was the regional champion after shooting 378. St. Joseph of the Big 16 Conference was second at 380 and Marshall, also from the Big 16, grabbed the final team qualifying spot with a 388.

The Vikings finished with a 479.

Individual qualifiers were Vicksburg’s Sarah Manski, who shot 91, Trianna Sutton of Benton Harbor, who shot 93, and Jozlin Johnson of Battle Creek Harper Creek, who shot 94.

The medalist Thursday was Plainwell’s Hannah Lewis, who carded a 74.

Niles was led by Sarah Cramer, who shot 117. The Vikings also got a 120 from Alison Dawson, a 121 from both Stephanie Vernier and Abigail Mattson, along with a 131 from Paxton Schaller.
