BROOKLYN – The Pure Michigan 400 reached the halfway point with Kyle Busch leading the field.
What once looked as if rain may play a part of the race, the storm moved to the north and racing continued at Michigan International Speedway.
Greg Biffle, who has led much of the race, was second at the line with Kasey Kahne third, Mark Martin fourth and Matt Kenseth fifth.
Rounding out the top 10 were Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and five-time NASCAR champion Jimmy Johnson.
Just past the halfway point, the caution flag flew for the third time for debris. Through the first 100 laps, there have been 13 caution laps. Two of the three cautions have been for debris.
Kahne was the big winner as he rolled off pit road first and took over the lead of the race at the restart. Kahne started the race 28th.
