BUCHANAN — John Natalie battled the heat as well as 19 other racers right down to the last turn Saturday to win the DWT RedBud ATV Nationals increasing his overall championship points lead to 10.

Natalie finished second in the first moto, behind Thomas Brown, but bounced back in the second moto and took over first place about half way through the moto before having to fight off Brown right down to the end to take the checkered flag and the overall No. 1.

Brown finished the day No. 2 overall with a first and second place finish in the two motos, while Josh Upperman claimed the final podium spot with two third place finishes.

The ATV Motocross circuit will travel next to Hurricane Mills, Tenn. on Aug. 13-14 for the biggest race of the season the Suzuki Loretta Lynn’s at the ranch of the longtime country music star.
