Anna Maxine Antus, 90, of Niles passed away Friday, June 24, 2011 with her family by her side.

Known by “Maxine” all of her life, she was born to the late William Tee and Vera (Brewer) Gillentine in McMinnville, Tenn.

On Dec. 11, 1948, Maxine married Andrew A. Antus at a ceremony in Niles.

Maxine was a homemaker all of her life. When she wasn’t tending to the needs inside of her home, she enjoyed spending time gardening.

Preceding Maxine are her parents and three of her brothers: Jack, J.B. and Ray Gillentine and William Tee Gillentine Jr.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Sally (Tom) Overmyer of Niles, and a brother, Leon Gillentine of Niles.

In accordance with Maxine’s request, there will be no public services and those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
