NILES — The Niles varsity tennis team hosted Sturgis and Bridgman in a triangular meet on Monday, dropping both matches.

Sturgis went 15-1 on the day beating Niles 8-0 in the first round, and Bridgman 7-1 in the second round.

In the third round, Niles fell to Bridgman 6-2, with Brad Miller picking up the win at No. 2 singles, 6-1 and 6-4.

Brent McGowen and Kody Jankoviak won at No. 4 doubles in three sets, 6-1, 4-6 and 6-2.
