Service an important component of Proos’ character

To the editor:

I am writing this letter in support of John Proos for the Republican nomination for state senator of the 21st Senate District.

Many of the letters that I have read in support of John to this point have mentioned his strong leadership skills and service to the people of the 79th House District.

I would agree with those feelings.

The other aspect of John that I have observed first hand is his strong desire to work and succeed in elected office.

It is this overwhelming desire that has led to the success that John has achieved.

To John Proos, being a state senator is not just the pursuit of a position of leadership and stature but a chance to serve all of the people of his district.

John is not just a person who can identify and explain what might be wrong in government and our coammunity, but also work to provide real solutions to those problems.

Working in these areas and becoming better at them is something John thoroughly enjoys and wants to continue doing.

I, for one, am willing to give him the opportunity by casting my vote for John Proos on Tuesday, Aug. 3.
