Fourth annual Bowl for a Cure Feb. 20

The Niles Four Flags USBC and Joey Armadillo’s Bowling Center and Restaurant are proud to host the 4th Annual Bowl for the Cure Event on Feb. 20.

There are two shifts (11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) to accommodate the many bowlers that will come out and help raise awareness of Breast Cancer.

Entertainment for both shifts will be provided by Pic-A-Dilly’s DJ Entertainment. Live auctions will be held during both shifts of autographed sports memorabilia.

Silent auctions, raffles, $1 votes will be taken for the new Bowling Pin Decorating contest and Pink headpin giveaways.

This event has grown dramatically each year and we’re very proud of the many local sponsors that have donated and the many people that volunteer their time for this event.  Last year the Bowl for the Cure raised almost $11,000.

All proceeds stay within our local Michigan counties and will be donated to the South Western Michigan Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

The money donated will help fund things like mammograms for the under insured or people with no insurance.  Mammograms can detect breast cancer seven years before you can feel a lump and this is not just a disease that affects women, men (although more rare) can also have breast cancer.

For more information or for registration forms please go to our website: http://www.nilesfourflagsusbc.com if you have other questions about the event, or would like to donate, please call Chris Marlin at 684-5482.
