Brent and Greta Pollock of Cassopolis announced the engagement of their daughter, Abilena Marie Pollock to Derek Tyler Purcell, the son of Scott and Kyleen Purcell of Niles.

Wedding vows will be exchanged on Sept. 26, at 3 p.m. at Crystal Springs Church of God, Benton Harbor.

A reception will follow at Pebblewood Country Club, Bridgman.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Brandywine High school in Niles.

Her grandparents are Norma Pollock of Niles and Earl Pollock of Niles.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Niles High School. His grandparents are Gary and Anita Moor of Sodus.
