EAU CLAIRE – On Sunday, July 26, local medical professionals and volunteers will come together in an effort to promote preventive health in the community of Eau Claire.
Participants will be given the opportunity to take part in eight health screening stations to determine top health risks.
Medical professionals will discuss areas of high risk and offer practical advice on ways of lowering high risk factors.
Dental check ups, cooking demonstrations and children’s activities will also be offered.
All services will be offered free of charge to willing participants.
In a time when health care costs are skyrocketing, both political and private entities recognize the need for practical preventive health care.
President Barack Obama has proposed preventive health care as one of the nation’s primary solutions toward a quality health care system.
Join them Sunday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eau Claire Community Center, 6305 W. Main St., as healthy living is promoted in southwest Michigan.
