ST. JOSEPH – Berien County Prosecuting Attorney Arthur J. Cotter announced Tuesday that he is dismissing an additional nine cases as a result of the continuing investigation into misconduct on the part of former Benton Harbor police officer Andrew Collins.
"I have concluded that the following additional convictions can longer stand due to misconduct on the part of Officer Collins, who provided false information in both affidavits for search warrants and in the content of police reports," Cotter stated.
