Dowagiac dominates Linnen-Jeffries

Dowagiac dominated the 36th annual Linnen-Jeffries Junior Golf Tournament held on Friday at Hampshire Country Club.
Dowagiac had golfers finish in the top two in all four divisions of the boys' competition.
Chris Craft shot 34 to win the 17-18 year-old division by two strokes over Stevensville's Drew Kalinowski, who finished with a 36.
Niles' Cole Hensel was third (42) and Dowagiac's Brad Hornburg fifth (47).
The tournament was cut to nine holes due to weather conditions.
Cody Fairleigh and Kyle Ward both shot 39 in the 15-16 year-old division, while Niles' John Schrader finished third with a 42. Dowagiac's Max Howe took fifth with a 43.
Matt Zerbel of St. Joseph and Dowagiac's Brody Froelich both shot 39 in the 13-14 year-old division.
Jordan Juday of Dowagiac was fourth with a 43.
In the 12 and under division, Sutton Dunwoodie of St. Joseph shot 40 to take top honors with Dowagiac's Jordan Hagemann finishing second with a 43.
Hayley Guyton, Sugar Grove, won the girls' 16-18 division with a 46.
Victoria Guyton, won the girls' 15 and under with a 44.
