Bishop installed

KALAMAZOO – Bishop Paul J. Bradley was formally installed as the fourth Bishop for the Diocese of Kalamazoo at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 5, during Mass at St. Augustine Cathedral, 542 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo. Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron, Diocese of Detroit, presided at the Mass. Bishop Bradley, 63, was appointed by Pope Benedict XVI on April 6, 2009. He will lead the more than 100,000 Catholics within the nine-county region that constitutes the Diocese of Kalamazoo. The Installation Mass began with a procession of deacons, priests and bishops leading Bishop Bradley to the altar.
This will be followed by the introduction of the Mass during which the Apostolic Letter of Appointment from Pope Benedict XVI will be read.
