John A. Quick and Ella M. Bevills were married on May 21, 1948 in McCrory, Ark. They moved to Niles in September of 1948. They have three children, Janet Martin, Juan Hanselman and John Louis; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
John retired from Tyler Refrigeration. Ella retired from A&P food stores. They are members of the Niles Church of Christ. Ella Volunteers at Lakeland-Hospital Niles.
A celebration for their 61st wedding anniversary is being planned by the family.
