Edwardsburg Intermediate School will celebrate the culmination of this year's Reading Renaissance program with activities on Thursday, June 4. Students who met their fourth quarter point goal will have the opportunity to watch the movie, "The Tale of Desperaux." The entire student body will assemble in the gym at 2:45 p.m. for a prize drawing. For every 20 points a student earned this school year, they were given one entry into the drawing. In keeping with this year's Reading Renaissance theme of "Modes of Transportation," prizes will include scooters, roller blades, skateboards, helmets, pads, and bike locks. Students who earned 150 or more points throughout the year will be entered in a separate drawing for major prizes, such as bicycles. Special thanks to the Edwardsburg PTO, as well as many local businesses who donated money to help purchase prizes for the drawing.
