It may have taken visiting Buchanan a little while to warm up their bats on Monday, but once they did Cassopolis found out why the Lady Bucks are undefeated in Lakeland Conference play.
It took Buchanan into the fifth inning of the opening game to get its bats rolling.
Leading 5-0, the Lady Bucks scored 10 runs in the fifth to take a 15-0 victory in the first game. Buchanan continued to roll as it completed the sweep with a 14-0 win in the nightcap.
The Lady Bucks used a pair of strong pitching performances from Alexis Lenox and an offense that finished the day with 27 hits and 29 runs.
Lenox tossed a two-hitter in the opening game with nine strikeouts, while in the nightcap she improved on that by allowing the Lady Rangers just one hit. She struck out seven in the second game.
Extra base hits were the name of the game for Buchanan in the nightcap.
Jayme O'Bryant hit a pair of home runs, while Lenox also had a home run. Buchanan also got doubles from Rachel Downs and Rachel Briggs.
Kasey Fosdick suffered the loss for Cassopolis in the first game. Jessica Biek suffered the loss in the second contest.
