DOWAGIAC – Wellspring/Cori Terry and Dancers will bring art to life on the stage at the Dale A. Lyons Building theater on the Dowagiac campus of Southwestern Michigan College, Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 students/seniors
Wellspring/Cori Terry and Dancers is southwest Michigan's only professional modern dance company. This extraordinary company of poetic and athletic dancers is committed to revealing the language of modern dance to adults and children. Special guest performers include the Encore Dance Company.
For an extra punch of entertainment, Dogwood will also present its first ever "Dancing with the Dowagiac Stars" competition! Dr. Fred Mathews and granddaughter Sammy Mathews as well as Pastor Jon Den Houter will wow you with their waltzes. Dowagiac School Superintendent, Peg Stowers will hip hop "bear" style and toe tapping Polly Judd will tap-dance her way into your heart.
