Kara Dale Parsons and Scott Anthony Johnson were married Sept. 20, 2008 at Diamond Cove church in Cassopolis. Officiating was David Johnson, brother of the groom.
Attending the bride were maid of honor, Kristen Price, cousin of the bride, and bridesmaids, Jennifer McDaniel, Emily Parsons, and Kim Parsons, sisters of the bride, and friends Erin Russell and Lori McKay.
Attending the groom were best man Winston Johnson Jr., brother of the groom, and groomsmen Darryl Johnson, Jeff Johnson, and Chris Johnson, all brothers of the groom, Edwin Johnson IV, cousin of the groom, and friend of the groom, Justin Smith.
Ushers were Andrew Parsons, brother of the bride, and Kevin McDaniel, brother-in-law of the bride.
Ring bearer was nephew of the groom Tyler Johnson, and the flower girl was Maile Barber, daughter of the bride.
The reception was held at Dowagiac Conservation Club.
Parents of the bride are Dale and Janice Parsons of Cassopolis, and Elizabeth McIntyre of Cassopolis is grandmother of the bride.
Winston Johnson of Cassopolis is the father of the groom, and Theola "Jane" Scott of Brownsburg, Ind. is his mother.
After a trip to Puerto Vallarta the couple are at home in Canton.
