The Cassopolis Rangers picked up their first win of the season in non-conference baseball action against visiting Marcellus on Thursday, April 2.
The Rangers scored six runs over the first three innings on their way to an 8-2 win over the Wildcats.
Cassopolis (1-2) scored twice in the first inning, once in the second and three times in the third frame to open up a 6-1 cushion.
The Rangers added single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to complete the scoring.
Nic Davis (1-1) picked up the victory as he worked four innings, allowing just three hits and one run.
Davis was also the leading hitter.
