THREE OAKS – The Edwardsburg girls' varsity basketball team defeated host River Valley in a Lakeland Conference contest, 34-20.
The Lady Eddies trailed 12-6 after one period of play, but rebounded to close the gap to 16-11 at the intermission.
Edwardsburg outscored River Valley 13-2 in the pivotal third quarter to take a 24-18 advantage into the final frame.
Rachel Vite had 17 points to lead the Lady Eddies, who also got seven points from Steffany Streb.
