The building that is home to St. Paul's Episcopal Church is the oldest public building in Dowagiac, built in 1859.
Once a Universalist Church, this building hosted many prominent speakers and performers, including Susan B. Anthony and Sojourner Truth.
On Sunday, Jan. 25, St. Paul's will commemorate its 150th year, according to Rector the Rev. Richard R. Swanson.
The Right Rev. Robert Gepert, bishop of the Diocese of Western Michigan, will preach and celebrate the Holy Eucharist beginning at 10 a.m.
Other events will celebrate the building throughout 2009.
