The engagement of Amy Holmes of Buchanan and Byron Cowart of Buchanan is announced. They have set June 6, 2009 as the date of their wedding which will be in Berrien Springs.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dennis and Gail Holmes of Eau Claire.
She graduated from Berrien Springs High School and received a bachlor's degree in elementary education from Andrews University
She is employed at Witheral Childcare.
The prospective groom is the son of Danny and Dawn Cowart of Kansas City,
Mo and Laura Cowart of Berrien Springs.
He graduated from Niles High School and is employed by UPS.
