Ownby named top athlete

Dowagiac's Sinjin Ownby has been named the Leader Publications Athlete of the Week for the Dowagiac Daily News.
Ownby was 4-1 last Saturday at the Delton Kellogg wrestling tournament and is now 15-2 on the season.
Ownby's lone loss came against Holland West Ottawa's Michael McClure.
McClure is the top ranked heavyweight in the state.
