Maxine L. (Wolfe) and Glen C. Edquist of Niles were married on Oct. 30, 1948, in St. Patrick's Church in Chesterson, Ind.
They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their family at Yesterday's restaurant in Granger, Ind.
They have three sons, Robert in Cedarburg, Wis., Greg in Flint and Terry in Niles.
They also have four grandchildren, Kristin, Andrew, Aaron and Zachery.
He retired from the former Bendix Corporation in South Bend, Ind. after 38 years. He was an industrial furnace instrument mechanic.
She retired from the Niles Township office after 20 years.
They have lived in Niles 58 years.
