Blossomtime Festival recognized

BENTON HARBOR – Sabrina LaSota, executive director of the Blossomtime Festival, returned this week from having attended the 16th annual Michigan Festival and Entertainment Association Convention.
LaSota was pleased to announce the photos of Blossomtime activities submitted this year for competition amongst the 167 other entries placed second and third in their category.
The MFEA Convention was held at the Radisson Center in Kalamazoo this past weekend, Nov. 6-9, and was attended by more than 650 participants.
LaSota said Monday, "It was an honor to be recognized by the association and appreciated by so many others in the festival and entertainment industries."
Blossomtime is looking forward to its next upcoming event, Miss Teen Blossomtime and Miss Heart of Blossomtime pageants Sunday, Nov. 23, at Dowagiac Middle School Performing Arts Center at 4 p.m. Tickets cost $10 at the door.
