To the editor:
Rob Wright is the right choice for LaGrange Township supervisor. He is an experienced leader, with a master's degree in educational leadership, and has applied those talents to community service. Serving as La Grange Township trustee since 2005, Rob has experience in area policy which is substantiated by his lifelong residency in Cass County. Rob and his family live in the area he grew up in, support the public library, United Way, Hospice and the Cass Area Ambulance Service.
This kind of intelligence and dedication is what I like to see in a township supervisor.
More examples of Rob Wright's contributions include: working to clean up the old Clark Equipment factory, personally addressing many citizens' concerns, and working with the Department of Environmental Quality to put LaGrange Township in the the FEMA flood program. As a neighbor, I was grateful to his response to the rain/sewer flooding crisis on Saturday, Sept. 13, and Sunday, Sept. 14, when he made numerous calls in the pouring rain to get help. Along with other volunteers of the community, he worked to try and stop the flood waters using sandbags. He also witnessed the devastation on Shurte Street near Dowagiac due to the flooding and has expressed continuous support in detailing emergency protocol in Cass County.
For a candidate with ethics and experience, vote for Robert Wright for LaGrange Township supervisor. He has my vote.
